A small update

Hey everyone! Thanks for stopping by and/or subscribing to The Baking Beauties. I really appreciate it!

I just wanted to leave a small note letting you know where you can find me guest posting or being interviewed lately. (I know, right? Too cool!)

You can find my Cinnamon Bun Cake featured on Healthy Blender recipes. Be sure to enter to win a 7 quart KitchenAid stand mixer while you’re there.

Mary, of Gluten Free Spinner, interviewed me and asked me questions about gluten-free baking. Looking for answers? You can read what I had to say by visiting her site. Thank you so much, Mary, it’s been a pleasure to meet you!

I am also extremely  honoured to be featured on “Monday Meet the Experts” over at The Kitchen Witch. I love being able to advise people on how to safely host a person on a gluten-free diet. Just because you can’t have gluten doesn’t mean you can’t have a social life. (ha, that’s coming from me…I rarely leave the house). ;) Lyndsay also creates me Pina Colada Parfaits in her latest episode of Charmed. See what her thoughts are on that naturally gluten-free dessert.

I hope you guys take a few minute to hop over and say “Hi” to the people that were kind enough to host me on their little piece of the world wide web. Thank you to all of you for including me on your blogs, I am extremely grateful.

To find more links to places that have featured The Baking Beauties, you can check out my Guest Posts and Interviews page.

    Jeanine,
That pineapple dessert listed above and on the Kitchen witch’s youtube clip looked great and I’m sure was delicious! As per usual, I am trying to make things corn, dairy and alcohol free, then both my son, 8 y/o, and I can have a tasty treat. If you have any workable ideas for what to substitute the corn with I’d appreciate it. The whip cream, I should be able to do with coconut milk or egg whites. Thanks again for all the tasty looking eats!

      Hi Lorna,
You can just use 1 tablespoon of rice flour in place of the cornstarch, and there is a dairy free ‘cream cheese’ product available, that I’ve heard quite a few good things about. And you’re right, the whipped cold coconut milk would work great for whipped cream! :)
