Virgin Pina Colada Ice Pops

Virgin Pina Colada Ice Pops | The Baking Beauties

Last summer we started to make some virgin Pina Colada drinks for the kids to enjoy after they were tuckered out from splashing around in the pool. Ever since I got my new Kitchenaid blender, which I LOVE, we’ve been making a lot more drinks that use ice cubes as the base (like these Frosty Mochas). I can not afford some of the high end blenders that are available today, but I love my Kitchenaid one. It can make a pitcher full of snow from ice cubes with no water added. That is something my $30 blender could never do. So, when making a drinks now, we get a nice, smooth drink, not a grainy drink like my old blender made.

Since the drinks are such a hit with the kids, when I was trying to think up flavour ideas for my Ice Pop week, these Virgin Pina Colada Ice Pops were an immediate yes. If you’re really impatient, you can blend this with some ice, and enjoy it as a drink, but as popsicle, it’s also really, really good. Since they use coconut milk, they are dairy free as well. They are super creamy, and everyone loved them.

Now you can enter to WIN a Summertime prize pack, so you can make your own frozen pops too!

Enter to #WIN this cool Summertime Prize Pack from The Baking Beauties

One winner will win a Norpro Ice Pop Maker, 200 Wooden Treat Sticks to get you going, and either “Top Pops” by Emily Zaiden, a book with 55 all-natural frozen treat recipes OR “The Everything Guide to Living Gluten-Free” written by me.

I bought myself these items, and will provide them to ONE lucky winner in either the US or Canada. I’ve begun using the ice pop mold a few weeks ago, and LOVE it. I love the classic look, the lid that hold the wooden sticks in place, and the size of the pops, similar to store-bought pops. Plus, since the pops use wooden sticks instead of plastic ones, you don’t have to wait until you’ve eaten them all before making another batch. The book, “Top Pops,” contains 55 simple recipes for you to make frozen treats at home. Not only is there a variety of recipes, but they can also serve as a great starting point for creating your own recipes. You have the choice of either the “Top Pops” book, or the book that I wrote while sitting beside the pool last summer, “The Everything Guide to Living Gluten-free.”

To enter, visit THIS POST and use the Rafflecopter after the recipe.
