Why pay the high prices at the grocery store when you can make your own hardening chocolate ice cream topping at home. It only takes a few minutes, with ingredients that you already have on hand. A nice little treat for those hot summer nights. This amount made enough to top 4 ice creams for […]
I am gluten free. I have Celiac disease. To me, it’s stupid to call it a disease, cause it isn’t. Someone is allergic to peanuts, do you say they have a disease? Nope! However, I see it as my tummy just doesn’t digest gluten the way it should. That’s fine. Since switching over to a […]
I topped the Gluten-Free Chocolate Cupcakes with this wonderful buttercream frosting for my daughter & her friends. I think it was a great icing, not very sweet, but it piped onto the cupcakes beautifully, even on a very hot day.
These are something different to throw on the grill tonight. Why not give them a try?
This chicken was finger-lickin’ good! A nice sticky sauce baked onto the outside of the chicken. I used skinless, boneless chicken thighs in place of chicken wings to cut down on the calories.
I was on the hunt for something sweet to bake one evening, and found these. Simple, sweet, and GLUTEN FREE! Yeah! It really is a take on the flourless peanut butter cookie, making it more like a brownie bar. VERY delicious, my whole family enjoyed it. Great for anyone, not just those with a gluten […]
These light-as-air cookies were a real treat for us. What else does one do with 4 leftover egg whites, but make meringue cookies! They were crunchy on the outside & chewy in the center. The cookies sprinkled with Jello flavoured powder actually had a cotton candy taste to them. Will definitely make these again! […]
This dish was fantastic! If you’re having company over for breakfast or brunch, this casserole is the one to make. It can be prepared the day before, cutting down on prep time in the morning. It has everything in it, and we really enjoyed it topped with some salsa.
These simple danishes were SO yummy, and they were super quick to make as well. They do not have the same flaky texture as a regular danish does, but they were great for a family breakfast outside on the deck. Wonderful. (and gluten free too!)
